  • Reversible or handed. The first type is already pre-cut, and you can use the drainer depending on your kitchen design (left or right). A handed type of sink has tap holes pre-cut at the back and the drainer is already positioned on the left or the right side.

Material – There are two things that will impact your choice of material: your personal preferences and your budget. The most common types of kitchen sinks are made of stainless steel because this material is affordable and requires a low maintenance. Fire clay ceramic is strength material which is resistant to rust, stain and heat. These sinks are the best choice for traditional design kitchens. Another type of materials is Velstra or Neostone. They are actually made of a mix of different materials that have different chemical and physical properties. They are easy to clean and resistant to heat and stain. Features and Accessories – Depending on the style you choose, some sinks gives you the opportunity to enhance them with some additional features or accessories. If you want some extra features you need to spend an extra money but as a result of this, you will enjoy some extra benefits as well. Some of the features and accessories you can choose from are micro-sheen finish, fitted clips and seals, anti-bacterial surfaces, waste kit, food prep board, etc.
